A teenager is in a critical condition after he was shot in Finglas in Dublin last night.
Gardaí say it happened at about 10.30pm as the man sat in his car at Kippure Park.
It is understood he was shot twice in the torso and was found by gardaí who were on patrol in the area.
The man, who is in his late teens, was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, but was transferred to St Vincent's University Hospital.
His condition is described as critical but stable.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
