A man arrested during a Criminal Assets Bureau search of properties in Co Wexford this morning has been released without charge.

The 58-year-old was detained by gardaí after he was alleged to have threatened a CAB officer during the raid.

The operation started at 6am and lasted for a number of hours at a housing estate outside a local town.

During the search operation, officers seized two Toyota Land Cruisers, eight Ifor Williams trailers, a Pageant Series 6 mobile home, a Honda generator and a power washer.

They will be taken to Dublin for further examination.

The search operation was part of an ongoing investigation into the finances of a suspected crime organisation in the southeast.

CAB officers were aided by members of the detective branch in Co Wexford, members of the Wexford Revenue Customs Division and the southeast regional armed support unit.
