CAB raid on house in Co Louth, accountant's office in Dublin

Officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau have carried out a search of a house in Blackrock, Co Louth, and frozen more than €80,000 in bank accounts.

A second search took place at an accountant's office in Dublin.

Computer equipment and documentation was seized at the house in Co Louth.

In excess of €83,000 has been frozen in bank accounts and €4,000 was seized today, after it was found concealed in the house in Blackrock.

The search relates to the assets of a CAB target who was shot dead in Citywest in Dublin in September 2017.

Officers from CAB along with local units carried out the operation.
