Five men have been arrested for conspiracy to murder as part of an investigation into organised crime in Dublin.

Three men, aged between 24 and 38, were arrested in the north inner city and Finglas areas last night.

They are being held at different garda stations in Dublin.

Two more men, aged in their 20s and 30s, have also been arrested and are being held at Dublin garda stations.

Gardaí say the arrests were made during an ongoing investigation by Special Crime Operations into serious feud-related organised crime activity in Dublin.
