A man has been arrested as part of the investigation into criminal damage and assaults carried out by a gang of men near Strokestown, Co Roscommon, on 16 December.
The incident happened at a repossessed house and farm at Falsk outside the town.
The 54-year-old man was arrested in Co Mayo and is being detained at Castlerea Garda Station.
Investigations are continuing.
