A house in Co Meath is being searched as part of the investigation into the murder of a 29-year-old woman who went missing six months ago.
Giedre Raguckaite, who was originally from Lithuania, was last seen alive at a house in Laytown in Co Meath on 29 May.
She was reported missing to gardaí in August.
Gardaí have interviewed a number of people in connection with her disappearance, including two Lithuanian men she was last seen with.
One of the men is believed to be involved in serious crime and is currently in prison on a separate matter.
Ms Raguckaite came to Dundalk in April and had applied for a Personal Public Service (PPS) number to work in Ireland.
Gardaí have established that she was last seen alive at a house at the Beach Grove Estate in Laytown on 29 May and they believe she died violently.
They received reports she had been carried unconscious into the house and was put into an ice bath.
They believe she was then taken from the house a few hours later by two Lithuanian men in a stolen Land Cruiser.
A forensic examination is being carried out on the house today as part of the murder investigation, but gardaí still do not know where Ms Raguckaite's body is or how she died.
There have been no arrests so far
Gardaí are also liaising with police in the UK, where Ms Raguckaite lived before coming to Ireland and in her home country of Lithuania.
Her family is being kept informed of the situation.
Gardaí in Dundalk said Ms Raguckaite was a vulnerable young woman who was trying to find work in Ireland.
Superintendent Gerard Curley, who is leading the investigation, said Ms Raguckaite left Dundalk on 23 May and was last seen on the 29 May.
Gardaí are trying to establish where she was during those six days.
The last confirmed contact with Ms Raguckaite was with her father in Lithuania by phone at 6.35pm Irish time on 29 May.
Gardaí have established that her phone has not been in use since the morning of 30 May, nor has there been any activity on her social media accounts or with family or friends.
They have appealed to people in the College Heights area of Dundalk where she lived and the Beach Grove Estate in Laytown where she was last seen.
They especially want to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or knows anything about the circumstances of the young woman's disappearance.
