Luxury goods and cash have been seized during a series of raids by the Criminal Assets Bureau in Dublin and Wicklow.

Officers searched 14 homes and businesses this morning in an operation targeting a west Dublin organised crime gang.

More than €145,000 in bank accounts has been frozen and four cars were seized as well as jewellery and designer handbags.

Six homes, four offices, three businesses and a motor dealership were searched.

Designer handbags, a 161 registered Audi A4, a 141 registered Volkswagen Passat and two 152 registered Mercedes C220 and Seat Leon cars were seized, along with a Hublot watch.
