Gardaí have re-issued an appeal to the suspected killer of a young man in Mallow to turn himself in.

Conor Quinn, 24, was stabbed at least once following a brief confrontation with another man in the Bridge Street area of Mallow on the night of 12 July.

Both men were known to each other.

It is understood that one line of inquiry gardaí are pursuing is that the incident may have been linked to an earlier row at Cahirmee Horse Fair in Buttevant.
