The Criminal Assets Bureau has carried out nine searches in Dublin and one in Wicklow as part of an operation targeting criminals associated with the Kinahan crime gang.

The searches were at homes and at three professional offices.

Three cars - an Audi A4, a BMW X5 and a Volkswagen Passat - were seized along with over 20 Rolex and Tagheur watches, around €28,500 and £700 in cash and a diamond testing kit to verify the quality of gemstones.

Small quantities of cocaine and cannabis were also seized, along with documents and mobile phones.

In excess of €20,000 has also been frozen in financial accounts.

The searches which also involved the Emergency Response and Armed Support Units were carried out in Drimnagh, Inchicore, Crumlin, and Finglas.
