A 32-year-old man has admitted his role in the disposal of the remains of 17-year-old Keane Mulready-Woods, who was murdered almost six years ago.
The teenager's body was dismembered in a house in Drogheda in January 2020 and the remains were subsequently recovered in Dublin and Louth.
Three men have already been jailed for their roles in facilitating the 17-year-old's murder. A fourth man today admitted his part in the crime.
Glen Bride, of Mount Olive Park, Kilbarrack, Dublin 5, pleaded guilty at the Special Criminal Court to participating or contributing to the transportation and disposal of the teenager's body parts.
He admitted that the intention of the offence, which took place on 15 January 2020, was to impede the apprehension of the murderer and that he knew and believed another person to be guilty of the murder.
He was remanded in custody for sentencing on 26 January next year.
