Management of Wilson's Hospital School wants former teacher Enoch Burke jailed again for breaching court orders banning him from attending the site in Co Westmeath.
The High Court heard that his attendance was disrupting the start of the new school term.
Ms Justice Nessa Cahill was told that Mr Burke was back at the school and its grounds, posing for selfies with pupils and setting a bad example of his claimed ability to defy judges and court orders.
Counsel for the school said that the only time he stayed away was when he was in prison and during school holidays.
He turned up again at the start of the new term, counsel added.
Mr Burke was suspended from the school in 2022 and later dismissed.
He kept turning up for work in defiance of court orders for which he has been jailed several times.
Mr Burke's bank account is being drained of the wages that are still being paid to him pending an appeal against his dismissal.
A Courts Service account being monitored by a receiver has reached €70,000 and is continuing to increase, the court heard.
Ms Justice Cahill was told that Mr Burke continued turning up at Wilson's Hospital School in defiance of a High Court order directing him to stay away and when questioned by the principal or other staff members he kept repeating that he had turned up for work.
The High Court ruled that the decision to suspend Mr Burke on paid leave in August 2022 was correct.
He has argued that it is unlawful and the result of his opposition to the extension of transgender rights following a direction by the school to call a former student by using the "they" pronoun.
Mr Burke has spent months in prison in defiance of court orders and denies being in contempt of court.
He claims he was wrongfully imprisoned because of his objections to transgenderism.
Ms Justice Cahill granted short service in relation to a motion to come before the court next Thursday seeking Mr Burke's attachment and committal to prison again.
