A 29-year-old man has pleaded guilty to falsely imprisoning and attacking a man who was beaten, held in a west Dublin house and had the word 'RAT' branded on his body.
Devon Hennessy, from Edgewood Lawns, Corduff, Dublin 15, was arraigned in the Special Criminal Court this morning and pleaded guilty to two offences.
He admitted falsely imprisoning and attacking the victim in a house on Sheephill Avenue in Blanchardstown for the purpose of enhancing the activities of a criminal gang.

He was remanded in custody for a date to be set in October for sentencing.
His two younger brothers, 28-year-old Jason Hennessy Jr and 22-year-old Brandon Hennessy of Sheephill Avenue, Blanchardstown, along with 45-year-old Kenneth Fitzsimons and his 26-year-old son, Dean Fitzsimons, of Castlecurragh Vale, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15, are also charged in relation to the alleged assault and false imprisonment.
Judge Karen O'Connor remanded the four men in custody until next Thursday so that the court can set a date for their trial.
