A second teenager has been found guilty of the rape and sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl at Limerick Racecourse on St Stephen's Day in 2022.
The 17-year-old boy, who was 15 at the time, had pleaded not guilty to both charges.
A third teenager, who was also 15 years old at the time, was found guilty of aiding and abetting the others, but not guilty of false imprisonment.
The jury of nine women and two men returned the majority verdicts at the Central Criminal Court sitting in Cork this afternoon.
Another defendant, a 15-year-old boy, who was 13 at the time, was found guilty yesterday of the rape and sexual assault of the young girl.
Mr Justice Paul McDermot remanded both teenagers in custody for sentencing on 28 April and requested the victim impact statement be available for that date.
He also requested probation reports for both teenagers.
He thanked the jury for their service in a case which he said had gone on much longer than anticipated.
He said it was not an easy case to deal with but thanked them for their consideration.
He excused them from jury service for 10 years.
