A 45-year-old man has been charged in connection with a fatal road incident in Dublin, in which a husband and wife were killed on St Stephen's Day.
John Halpin, with an address in Whitestown Avenue, Blanchardstown, appeared at Dublin District Court this morning charged with four offences, including two counts of dangerous driving causing death.
Georgina Hogg Moore, 39, and her 40-year-old husband Anthony Hogg, were struck by a vehicle near Blanchardstown Shopping Centre on 26 December.
Ms Hogg Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her husband was seriously injured and later died at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown
It is understood the couple had two children.

Mr Halpin is also charged with two counts of hit-and-run, including failing to offer assistance.

Garda Alan Murphy gave evidence of arresting Mr Halpin at Blanchardstown Garda Station just after 10pm on St Stephen's Day.
He told the court that Mr Halpin made no reply when the charges were put to him.
Solicitor Damien Coffey told the court that no application for bail would be made at this time.
He also told Judge Michele Finan that his client would not be requiring medical attention.

Judge Finan granted legal aid and remanded Mr Halpin in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court on Friday, 3 January.
A woman who was previously arrested in relation to the investigation has been released without charge.
