A teenager charged with the murder of Lorna Woodnutt has been further remanded after appearing via video link before Tullamore District Court this morning.
Judge Andrew Cody explained to the accused that today's appearance was a formality in order to extend their period in custody by another 14 days.
During the brief hearing the teenager was asked if they had any questions to which they replied "no".
Last Saturday night, the teenager appeared in court charged with murder and was remanded to Oberstown Child Detention Campus.
The accused will re-appear before Tullamore District Court on 18 October at 10.15am.
The video link was not working during this morning's court hearing, however Judge Cody and the accused were satisfied to proceed with audio only.
Reporting restrictions remain in place in the case.
