Two men have appeared in court charged in connection with an €11.4m cocaine seizure in Rosslare Europort on Thursday.
Officers from Revenue's customs section had searched the horsebox after it had disembarked from a ferry that had arrived from Cherbourg in France.
During the course of the operation, the officers found an estimated 163kg of cocaine.
Gardaí were called to the scene and arrested two men in relation to the seizure.
Ivan Chalakov, 26, and Stoyan Stefanov, 23, both from Bulgaria appeared before Judge John O'Leary at a special sitting of Wexford District Court charged in connection with the find.
The court heard that both men were charged with possession of drugs and the possession of drugs for sale or supply under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Gda Geoff Scally from Wexford Garda Station told the court that when he put the charges to Stoyan Stefanov he said: "I didn't know what the cocaine would be used for".
No application for bail was made for Mr Chalakov or Mr Stefanov.
An application for legal aid was made for both men as the court heard neither have means in this country.
Both men have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Wexford District Court on Monday 17 July.
