A man has appeared at Dublin District Court charged in connection with alleged online harassment.
The 36-year-old man was charged following an 18-month garda investigation into an alleged seven-year long campaign of online harassment against a number of women.
Gardaí say that during the investigation, the accused allegedly persisted in communicating with the victims through electronic means.
The accused man was charged with a number of counts of harassment, and has been remanded for eight weeks for service of a book of evidence.
