A few months ago, we had not heard about coronavirus, Covid-19.

Now it seems it is the only thing being talked about.

Many children have questions about what is happening, so RTÉ news2day - RTÉ's new programme aimed at younger viewers - invited them to send in their questions for the Minister for Health, Simon Harris, to answer. And he has.

In a news2day exclusive, children are the reporters and ask all the questions that are important to them.

They wanted to know how the virus started, how to stay healthy, when the schools will re-open and one girl asked if her Nana could come for a sleepover.

A news2day Special - Kids Covid questions answered by the Minister for Health, Simon Harris - will be on RTÉ2 television on Friday 27 March at 12.15pm and 4pm. It will also be available on the RTÉ Player.
