A man in his 40s has died in a road crash in Co Mayo.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at around 10am on the N59 at Ballycroy, Westport.
The man, who was travelling alone, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí are appealing to witnesses, particularly any road users with video footage (including dash-cam) to contact Westport Garda Station on 098 50230, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
The man's death brings to 16 the number of people killed on Irish roads since the beginning of the year.
