Gardaí investigating the murder of Sandra Collins are renewing their appeal for information, 24 years after her disappearance.
Ms Collins was last seen on the night of 4 December 2000 at around 11pm at the Country Kitchen premises on George's St in Killala, Co Mayo.
She was 28 years old at the time of her disappearance.
Gardaí are asking for anyone who might have relevant information to make it available to them. They say that they are continuing to liaise closely with Ms Collins' family.
Detective Inspector John Costello said: "Perhaps you have information you thought was insignificant at the time, or it could be that after 24 years have passed, your circumstances have now changed.
"Relationships change, loyalties change and people may not now be constrained by the set of circumstances that existed for them some 24 years ago. With that passage of time, people may feel more comfortable sharing information with us."
Anyone with information is asked to contact gardaí at Ballina Garda Station on 096-20560, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
Gardaí say anyone who contacts them will be treated with confidentiality, compassion and sensitivity.
