The body of a man has been identified after it was recovered from the water at Claddagh Quay in Galway earlier this month.
An appeal was issued yesterday by gardaí to identify the man whose body was recovered on 17 November.
Gardaí said that despite extensive enquiries, the man's body had not yet been identified at that point.
They have thanked the public for its assistance.
