The search off the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare for the remains of a 12-year-old boy missing since Tuesday continued today.
Searches were conducted by the Doolin Coast Guard and Civil Defence drone teams.
Shore searches were also conducted by Coast Guard units in Inis Oírr (Inisheer) and on the Conamara coast.
Conditions in the area were described as challenging and search efforts were due to wind up for the evening.
