A man in his 80s has died following a quad bike crash on Acaill in Co Mayo.
The crash occurred on the road to Purteen Harbour off the R319 near An Caol at around 1.45pm.
The man, who was driving the quad bike, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to Mayo University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place.
No other injuries were reported.
