Gardaí in Galway are appealing for information following the theft of four foxhound puppies in Craughwell between 7pm on Sunday 21 June and 9am on Monday 22 June.

The litter of puppies are just four weeks old and are described as black, white and tan in colour.

There were three male puppies and one female pup in the litter.

The puppies were taken from their mother before they could be weaned properly, and this is of concern.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have been offered pups matching this description or who may have information in relation to the theft to make contact with them at Craughwell Garda Station on 091-876320 or Loughrea Garda Station on 091-842870.
