Two men arrested over attempted robbery in Leitrim released

Two men arrested in connection with an attempted robbery and the ramming of a garda car in Mohill, Co Leitrim early yesterday morning have been released without charge.

A file is to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A juvenile, aged in his late teens, remains in custody.

A fourth person - a man - who was involved in a road crash on the Mohill to Drumlish Road - is still being treated in hospital.

Gardaí are seeking a fifth individual in connection with the investigation.
