A Galway-based tech company has said it will double its workforce in the next 12 months.
CitySwifter develops software for bus companies that allows them to tailor their timetables to respond to fluctuating consumer demand.
A number of transport firms in British cities are already using the technology.
Using a mix of data and predictive analysis, CitySwifter software enables urban bus operators to more accurately predict passenger numbers across their service schedules.
The expansion will increase the number of employees in Galway city centre to a total of 40 in due course. The firm is also planning to open offices in London and New York.
