The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission is investigating an incident in Co Roscommon that saw a male garda hospitalised.
The garda and two other men were taken to hospital after the incident, which happened at the Rose Lawn area of Castlerea at around 1am on Sunday 9 December.
A garda investigation is also under way.
