Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of Joseph Deacy in Co Mayo earlier this year.
Mr Deacy was found with head injuries outside a house at Gortnasillagh, Swinford on Saturday 12 August.
The 21-year-old, from St Albans in England, was initially taken to Mayo University Hospital.
He was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital, where he was pronounced dead the following day.
Two men in their 20s were arrested this morning.
They are being questioned at garda stations in Co Mayo and can be detained for up to 24 hours.
Gardaí also searched two locations as part of their investigation.
