An American insurance provider has opened a new facility in Galway, where 200 jobs are being created.
MetLife says its Global Technology Campus is part of an ongoing effort to lower costs, increase collaboration and enhance its business offering.
It has redeveloped the Hynes Building in Galway city centre in recent months.

The structure, which was constructed in the early 1970s, has been entirely re-purposed into an open-plan workspace, with a meditation room included for employees.
The offices are being officially opened by Tánaiste and Minister for Business Frances Fitzgerald.
She said the decision to locate in Galway was a boost for the region.
