Primecore, a management consultancy firm serving the science and technology sectors, has announced expansion plans that will see the creation of 100 new jobs over the next three years in Ireland and the United States.

Around a third of the new positions will be in Ireland, with the remainder in the US.

The company has also unveiled a new leadership team following the acquisition of Primecore by a new ownership group.

Primecore said it expects to grow revenues from $12m (€10.3m) per annum currently to $30m (€25.8m) by 2028.

With existing offices in Philadelphia, Boston, Cork and Dublin, 80% of the firm's current revenue originates from the US.

Primecore partners with companies worldwide, ranging from recent start-ups to industry leaders to design and implement operations strategies for the biopharmaceutical sector.

"We acquired Primecore because it has an outstanding reputation and represents everything we value; trusted client relationships, exceptional staff, and a proven record of delivery," said Aidan O'Dwyer, CEO of Primecore.

"At the company’s core is a deep conviction that adherence to best-practice, coupled with industry leading expertise translates capital investments into commercial success for our clients," Mr O'Dwyer said.
