A small number of jobs are under threat at the Irish operation of video-sharing platform TikTok.
It is understood that less that 30 jobs are at risk due to changes to the company's trust and safety teams.
Those impacted will be given the opportunity to apply for redeployment elsewhere in TikTok, which currently has 70 open roles in its Dublin office.
According to a spokesperson a small percentage of non-frontline roles of the global Trust and Safety teams will be affected.
Around 2,500 people are employed by the company in Ireland.
In July, TikTok said a small number of Irish-based roles were to be cut in its global e-commerce division.
Less than 10 staff were expected to be impacted and redeployment opportunities were to be offered to affected workers.
In March, TikTok informed the Government that around 300 Irish-based jobs were under threat as part of global cuts.
It was part of plans to lay off staff at its trust and safety unit which handles content moderation, as part of a restructuring.
The latest job threat at TikTok was first reported by the Business Post.
