Chemical waste management company Chemishield has announced plans to create 50 new jobs over the next 18 months.
The company, which offers a digital alternative to laboratories managing hazardous waste, said the new roles will be in sales, support and tech.
It has worked with life science, pharmaceutical and healthcare companies including Pfizer, Sanofi and Eirgen.
It said new jobs will help it support its growth, which includes a planned expansion into north America and the development of new products.
Alongside the jobs announcement, Chemishield also announced today that Envetec Sustainable Technologies CEO Malcolm Bell has joined its board after making a strategic investment in the business.
"Malcolm's decision to join Chemishield highlights the scale of the opportunity ahead," said Chemishield's founder and CEO Kevin Walsh. "[His] strategic insight, proven track record, and experience scaling companies will be essential as we grow our platform and expand our partnerships."
"Chemishield sits at the intersection of safety, sustainability, and digital transformation," said Malcolm Bell. "The platform delivers clear value for labs and research-intensive industries by making compliance effortless and intuitive.
"With rising demand across essential industries, Chemishield is uniquely positioned to scale and set a new benchmark for compliance, safety, and operational efficiency."
