Cork-based Zevas Communications to double workforce

A Cork-based customer service company has announced plans to double its workforce by the summer, saying it will begin the recruitment of 150 new staff immediately.

Zevas Communications was established more than 20 years ago and has 160 staff in Cork and throughout the country.

Last August, Zevas was acquired by Florida-based customer service solutions company ResultsCX.

ResultsCX provides services to a number of global brands, including Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 firms.

The 150 new positions will be predominantly sales roles in the fintech sector and recruitment will be to the ResultsCX Ireland division.

Zevas Communications is part of that Irish division and is spearheading ResultsCX's expansion in Europe.

Many of those recruited by the company will be offered the option to work from home.

ResultsCX says the expansion is in response to increased demand for its customer support services in the areas of banking, financial services, insurance and technology.

Managing Director and CEO of ResultsCX, Rajesh Subramaniam, said the company's newly-acquired Irish division is pivotal to its plans to grow and expand in Europe.

"We deeply appreciate the support and encouragement from local authorities," he said. "Our commitment remains unwavering as we aim to further invest in the development of our workforce and contribute to the growth of the economy."

The company's UK and Europe Managing Director, Siddharth Parashar, said the company had experienced remarkable growth within its Irish division over the past six months.

"Moving forward, our aim is to double our workforce by the summer," he said.

"Recent acquisitions have strengthened our presence in the UK and Europe and coupled with our highly skilled and diverse international workforce in Ireland, we believe this region holds immense potential," he added.

ResultsCX currently employs more than 28,000 people worldwide, including 10,000 who work from home.
