DataSolutions bought by Climb Global Solutions

Irish IT and security solutions distributor, DataSolutions, has been bought by Climb Global Solutions for an undisclosed fee.

Nasdaq listed Climb is an IT distribution and solutions company with operations in the US, Canada and Europe.

DataSolutions serves the Irish and UK reseller markets which reported double digit revenue growth of $136m for the year ending in March.

"By joining forces with Climb, we will be able to enhance the offering we provide through our existing expert team, continuing to deliver service that powers success and adding value to customers in both Ireland and the UK."

DataSolutions, which was set up in 199, offers solutions across the areas of hybrid multi-cloud, cyber security, digital workspace and networking.

"Further, DataSolutions has established a robust recurring revenue base, with more than 90% of its fiscal 2023 revenue coming from existing reseller partners."
