Vodafone Ireland is investing a further €3m in upgrading a number of stores.
The investment comes as part of a plan to refit all of the mobile operator's retail outlets by 2025.
Nearly a quarter of the chain have been retrofitted to date.
The company said the three-year investment programme would better equip and futureproof stores nationwide.
"This investment across our stores highlights our continued commitment to customer experience as we strive to meet the needs of our diverse base and offerings across mobile, broadband, business, and TV," said Jenny Hayes, Head of Consumer Sales at Vodafone Ireland.
The carrier also said it is also launching "Hi Digital Drop-in Fridays", which will see stores set up to provide dedicated digital support for those aged over 65 on Fridays from 10am to 1pm.
However, the company said older people are also welcome throughout the week if they need support and guidance.
A network of Vodafone employees have been trained as 'Hi Digital Ambassadors’ to provide the assistance.
The initiative is being rolled out through the Vodafone Foundation in partnership with ALONE and will be available in 21 stores across the country.
"Any questions or support required can be answered, be it, contacting a family member or loved one, paying a bill, or downloading an app, and it will further help us to combat the current digital divide across Ireland," said Ms Hayes.
"I encourage family members to spread the word to their parents, grandparents and beyond, about the service which we hope will directly impact communities across Ireland and help more people get connected."
