US tech firm ClickUp has announced a new EU data centre in Ireland.

In March, the company announced the opening of its European Headquarters in Dublin.

ClickUp offers productivity tools to companies providing a single, unified platform that includes project management, document collaboration, spreadsheets and role-based AI tools.

The company said today's announcement of a data centre in Ireland will provide localised data hosting and will be operated by Amazon Web Services.

"This is a landmark moment for ClickUp as we scale to support our largest customers and their increasingly complex security and privacy compliance requirements," said Richard McGuinness, VP of EMEA Sales at ClickUp.

"With localised data hosting, we are proud to deliver even more capabilities to support the largest businesses in the world and their unique needs across geographies," Mr McGuinness said.
