IT services firm, Unity Technology Solutions, has been bought by Irish based cybersecurity and cloud services specialist Ekco.
Financial details of the transaction have not been revealed by either side.
However, the deal will see the annual revenues at Ekco grow to €105m.
Employment at the company will also increase to over 500 when Unity's 80 staff join the firm.
Ekco currently has operations in Ireland, the UK and Netherlands, with 300 of the staff based in Dublin and Cork.
"Unity is a natural fit for Ekco and complements our commitment of helping organisations make the transition to secure cloud in a way that strengthens their business and accelerates growth," said Eoin Blacklock, CEO of Ekco.
"We’re ambitious for the new Ekco and look forward to bringing our clients the business benefits of our combined investment and technology innovation."
Unity was established in 2011 and offers a full range of IT services to clients. Two years ago it bought IT Force Limited.
"I look forward to introducing Unity’s customers to the full portfolio of Ekco’s cybersecurity services and to joining the Ekco senior leadership team," said David Hargaden, CEO of Unity.
The deal marks the latest acquisition completed by Ekco in recent years, with Kontex Security Ltd and Ward Solutions among the most recent.
It recently also raised €20.25m in a funding round, its third successful fundraise.
