Cloud company Tier3Tech has announced plans to create 30 new jobs, in a move set to strengthen the company's existing workforce over the next three to five years.
Tier3Tech, which is based in Dublin and Roscommon, said the recruitment drive follows a period of considerable growth for the company, which is an official Microsoft partner.
Founded in 2020, Tier3Tech specialises in SME-focused solutions that enable businesses to modernise their operations, while maximising efficiencies.
It delivers customisable services to businesses including optimisation strategies focused on mitigating the latest threats such as business email compromise, social engineering manipulation, invoice re-direction scams, man in the middle attacks and ransomware.
The company said the newly created positions will include support engineers, finance, sales and marketing and administration roles.
The Managing Director of Tier3Tech, David Waldron, said the announcement of the new jobs marks an exciting milestone for Tier3Tech, as it continues to enhance its operations and expand its footprint across the industry.
"We are now entering a new phase of growth and this is indicative of our continued commitment to providing quality solutions that streamline the operations of businesses - both big and small," Mr Waldron added.
Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar noted that the Covid pandemic massively accelerated an already growing trend, with countless businesses moving their operations online and millions of us working from home.
"Cloud specialists like Tier3Tech have helped to mobilise this change, by making it as seamless as possible for businesses," Mr Varadkar said.
"The Government wants remote and blended working to remain a big part of life. This news from Tier3Tech demonstrates the demand for talent to provide digital and technology services will continue on into the future," he added.
