The new combined entity currently employs around 600 staff and has offices in Ireland as well as New Zealand.
"Today's announcement marks an exciting day for Irish industry, combining two of Ireland’s leading companies has enabled us to leverage the best of both, for the benefit of the Irish marketplace, across the whole island," said Martin Wells, managing ddirector of eir evo.
"With the unveiling of eir evo we are delighted to announce that we will be expanding our workforce, both in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland."
The new roles will be in IT security, cloud services and software development, with additional roles due to be added in the coming months.
It is expected that further roles will be added in the coming months.
The €80m takeover of Evros by eir Business was announced in January.
Eir said at the time that the merger would allow it to offer a broader range of products to business customers, alongside its traditional voice and broadband services.
Evros provides a range of IT products, including cloud, security, networking and digital transformation services.
"We want people to join our team who share this vision of elevating Irish businesses and giving them the power to adapt, grow and evolve," said Mr Wells.
