Mobile phone network GoMo has acquired more than 300,000 customers since its launch two years ago.

The telecom firm, which was launched by Meteor Mobile and is owned by Eir, offers customers calls, texts and data for a fixed monthly price - for life.

When it first launched, GoMo's offer started at €9.99 a month, then increased to €12.99 and now stands at €14.99 for new customers.

"GoMo was created with customers in mind, and rather than product first, it was designed to give customers everything they need from their mobile in one simple proposition, with the added flexibility of a 30-day rolling contract," said Brionan Kennedy, GoMo Commercial Lead.

"Over the last two years over 300,000 customers have made the move to GoMo, with the brand winning several major industry awards, further demonstrating the success of GoMo," he added.

The no-frills service offers a SIM-only option and with no shops, it offers its customer services online.

SIMs are sent by courier to the address of the customer.

GoMo uses Eir's network and offers 99% population coverage.
