NearForm, the Irish company that developed the Covid-19 tracker smartphone app, has launched a similar service in Jersey.
The free app determines whether users have been in close contact with a confirmed positive case of coronavirus.
It follows the rollout of the app in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware in the US in recent months.
The company has also developed Covid apps for Northern Ireland, Gibraltar and Scotland.
The app used in the north, where Covid rates are soaring, is interoperable with the COVID Tracker Ireland app.
The Irish app is also involved in a wider European interoperability project.
All the apps use the same underlying source code that is in use in the Irish app.
The code was open sourced to the Linux Foundation Public Health by the HSE and the Government following the launch of the app here.
