The data shows that Revolut users spent 25% more in off-licences last month, compared to July 2019.
While the number of people shopping in off-licences did not change significantly year-on-year, the average monthly spend increased to €40.20 during the month, compared to €32.80 in July last year.
The report shows that hairdressers and stylists also had a strong July, while restaurants and cafes had a good first month after lockdown, but are still a long way from being back to normal.
Some industries, notably travel, have been particularly impacted by Covid-19 and this is reflected in the report, with spend on taxis and air travel down significantly.
Meanwhile data from digital bank N26 shows a 32% increase in consumer spending since the lockdown was lifted, with both online and real-world sales rising.
The bank's data also shows a continued switch towards card and digital payments, with cash payments down 30% on pre-Covid levels.
