Virgin Media is removing limits on calls, text and data on its mobile network.
The telecom provider says it is taking the step in order to help customers stay in touch through the Covid-19 crisis.
The move will last until June 30th the company said and will apply to Irish landline, mobile and non-geographic calls and texts to all Irish mobiles regardless of the plan.
"Now, more than ever, we recognise just how important it is for everyone to stay connected," said Anne O'Flynn,~Head of Commercial Product at Virgin Media.
"With today's announcement, we're making sure there are no barriers for our customers to stay in touch with family and friends."
Out of bundle international, premium and non-EU roaming calls and texts will be charged at the standard rates, Virgin Media said.
