Identity and access management company OneLogin has launched its new EMEA headquarters in Dublin city centre and announced the creation of 30 jobs.
OneLogin enables organisations to deliver a simple and secure way for employees to access apps and data, anytime from anywhere.
Founded in 2009 by Danish brothers Thomas and Christian Pedersen, OneLogin now employs over 300 people worldwide and has operations in the US, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, Australia, and Japan.
Its clients include Tesco, Fairfax Media, NTT Data, Fujitsu Social Science Laboratory and the British Red Cross.
Brad Brooks, CEO of OneLogin, said that Ireland is fast establishing itself as a strategic technology innovation hub and one with an incredible pool of talent.
"We see the office opening in Dublin as an important move in the growth plans for OneLogin's global business," Mr Brooks said.
"With the Irish market booming and major names moving into the market, we're excited to be able to offer our solution at a time when every enterprise needs to securely and efficiently protect their business applications, employee and customer identities," he added.
New research from the company has found that 39% of Irish adults have not updated their main password in the last 12 months.
The OneLogin research also found that 20% of Irish adults have not updated their passwords in over two years and a further 5% can not actually recall the last time they updated their passwords.
