Software company Citrix has today officially open its expanded office at East Point Business Park in Dublin, adding 30 new roles on top of the 150 jobs announced earlier this year.
After the €6.7m investment, the new office is the largest Citrix European centre within EMEA.
The revamped 49,500 sq ft centre will offer functions including technical support, consulting services, HR shared services and a new EMEA digital sales hub.
The company, which first came to Ireland in 1999, has developed close links with Irish universities and Institutes of Technology to support its growth and give young people the digital skills to propel their careers on the international stage.
Sherif Seddik, Senior Vice President of Sales & Services, EMEA at Citrix, said the €6.7m investment in the company's newly expanded Dublin centre is of strategic importance to its evolving 'go to market' strategy.
Martin Shanahan, the chief executive of IDA Ireland, said the decision by Citrix to expand its facility in Dublin endorses the city's reputation as a premier EMEA location for global software companies.
