A US based insurance software company is to add 100 new jobs in Dublin over the next 18 months.
Guidewire Software already employs 300 in its office here, the company's largest outside of the US.
40 of the positions will be filled between now and the end of the August with the balance of the recruitment to be complete by the end of 2019.
Guidewire has been operating in Ireland for seven years, providing consultancy and software product development support to business customers globally.
The Dublin office also acts as one the firm's 11 global product development centres.
Among the roles being filled are build and release engineer, consulting and engineering managers, operations, cloud services and site reliability engineers, product, project and programme managers and user experience designers.
"We have seen growth of 20% in our Dublin Professional Services team since September 2017 alone, and plan to continue on this trajectory through to the summer," said Sandia Ren, Vice President, Professional Services at Guidewire.
"This allows us to extend expertise in a range of practices, including Digital and Cloud," she added.
The announcement has been welcomed by the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, which has supported the investment through IDA Ireland.
