Dublin-based software firm Glantus has acquired Connecticut data analytics company Hedgehog Analytics.
The deal was made for an undisclosed sum, however the combined company is expected to have revenues of $10m within the next two years.
Glantus specialises in data analytics and artificial intelligence software and currently employs 50 people in Dublin.
Hedgehog was established in 2014 and currently employs around 12 people in the US.
It will now rebrand as Glantus US, with Lee Medoff becoming the firm’s Chief Analytics Officer.
"The deal provides Glantus with a significant footprint in the United States and presents us with a unique opportunity to scale up our business in the coming years," said Glantus CEO Maurice Healy.
