Travel software company Datalex has said it expects its full-year earnings to be between 15% and 20% ahead of last year.

In a trading update, Datalex said a deployment of its technology at German airline Lufthansa, one of its biggest ever contracts, is on track to begin delivering revenue in 2018.

The company also said its pipeline of new business is strong and it expects to sign a number of new customers in the coming months.

Datalex said it had agreed an extension of its contract with JetBlue Airways to the end of 2022, which it said reflected the success of the partnership.

In today's trading update, the company said that 2017 was a significant year for its business - both from an operational and an investment perspective.

"Our market opportunity continues to expand, we are successfully executing on a number of major customer engagements and we are accelerating our scaling investment in product and partnership capabilities, both of which will drive future revenue opportunities and business growth", the company added.
