Irish software company SoftCo has won a $20m contract from the Finnish government to upgrade its procure-to-pay processes.

Under the agreement, SoftCo’s software will manage all procurement and invoice processing for more than 70 Finnish Government departments.

The company claims the shift to digitisation will save Finland's public sector up to €1 billion by 2029.

SoftCo was selected by the Finnish government Shared Services Centre for Finance and HR from an extensive tender process and will be rolled out to every department within the government there.

The process automisation firm was established in 1990 and has offices throughout the US and EMEA.
