Google’s Ronan Harris has been appointed as the new Managing Director for the company in the UK and Ireland.
Mr Harris, who was previously responsible for the sales teams in Dublin, will be moving to London to take up his new role.
He has worked at Google for 11 and a half years, starting out as an engineer.
Mr Harris said he was looking forward to the “new challenge of leading the UK and Ireland business”.
Meanwhile, VP for EMEA, Google Marketing Solutions Fionnuala Meehan has been appointed Google Site Lead in Ireland alongside her existing role.
As Site Lead, she will co-ordinate Google’s operations and relationships here.
Ms Meehan has been instrumental in the growth of the AdWords Sales & Operations organisation, holding several leadership roles since joining Google in 2005.
